• Author project architecture design documents, including data flows, sequence diagrams, and overall system architecture, to drive technical implementation of solutions.
• Focus primarily on defining solutions associated with CMS Interoperability while supporting other data solutions as needed.
• Work across business and IT teams to understand current capabilities and define future-state technology roadmaps.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including business experts, technical business analysts, project managers, sales/account executives, and data engineers.
• Partner with Product Management to identify client-specific requirements and align them with product features and roadmap initiatives.
• Define long-term and near-term solution architecture vision for designated components.
• Provide mentorship and ongoing support to internal implementation teams.
• Strong understanding of healthcare data and systems, including payer, provider, and integration partners.
• Expertise in US healthcare data domains such as Medical Claims, Pharmacy Claims, Membership/Enrollment, Provider, and Clinical data.
• Domain expertise in CMS Interoperability Mandates (9115 / 0057), including FHIR and mandated API technologies.
• Ability to define architecture vision and create architecture design documentation.
• Broad technical expertise across infrastructure, databases, data models, programming frameworks, service orientation, and technical modeling.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and data platforms like Databricks or Snowflake.
• Strong understanding of healthcare industry trends, regulations, and customer needs.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience in payer/healthcare data environments and historical data architecture needs.
• Working knowledge of Provider (EHR) data formats and interoperability standards including FHIR, X12, HL7 V2.3, and CCDA/CDA.
• Exposure to Utilization Management, Care Management, or Disease Management domains.
